Appointments can be booked by calling us to set up an appointment over the phone 585-610-7935.

We offer grooming Monday through Friday. Appointment times  vary based on the day and season. We typically start booking appointments as early as 8:00am and our last appointment of the day at 3:00pm. 

At this time we do not offer any pick up or drop off options. 

Four paws would love to set up recurring appointments to ensure your pet's needs are being met on a regular basis. Please speak with your groomer in person in regarding to recurring appointments. 

The earlier you start exposing your puppy to grooming the better. Once you have your puppy has received it's first full set of shots, it is a fine time to start incorporating grooming. Four Paws offers a puppy package to introduce your pup into the process of grooming. 

All baths include a customized shampoo and condition experience for your dog based on their coat needs and potential allergies based on their breed. Your groomer will chose the best regimen for your furry friend. After bathing a full hand-dry will be completed following a brush/comb out depending on coat. 

Four paws offers two styles of grooming, a light groom and a premium groom. 

Light grooms offer a bath, brush services and a light trim of the face, feet, tummy and sanitary area. Light rooms are intended to tidy up your furry friend but is not a full groom.

Premium grooms offer a bath, full brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, pad and sanitary clean up. This service also includes a full body haircut. 

All dogs at Four Paws are hand-dried with a high velocity dryer or stand up dryer. This allows us to get a better finish on your dogs coat and we're able to see if your pet has any skin issues we need to take into account.

Matting can lead to a lot of skin issues and cause your furry one to be uncomfortable. Four paws does charge an additional fee of $15. It should also be noted that a large majority of matted dogs do require a full shave down. 

To maintain a non-shedding breeds coat (Poodle, Schnauzers, Bichon etc.), your dog should be groomed every 4-6 weeks. If your dog is groomed with a very short cut you can extend their groom time to 8-10 weeks. Shedding breeds (hounds, labs, golden retrievers etc.), can typically go 8-10 weeks between grooms. Maintaining your dogs coat at home is a critical part in how often your pet should be groomed by a professional. 

Absolutely! We would love feedback from you on the style of cut you prefer for your dog. Your groomer will discuss what options you have based on your preferences. 

Age is typically not a reason to stop grooming your furry friend. Some situations may prevent your loved one from being able to be groomed so we recommend you speak with your vet to make sure grooming would not create any extra risks for your aging pet. Four Paws has experience working with deaf, blind, arthritic and diabetic dogs and is willing to accommodate your pet's specific needs. 

Large breeds are accommodated at Four Paws Grooming but must be dropped off for grooming no later than 2:00pm. 

At this time Four Paws does not offer any services to cats or other small animals. 

Because it is not uncommon for dogs to get overly excited if their owner is present, we ask that you only drop off your furry friend. This is to create a safe environment for your dog so they can stay focused on their groom and groomer.  

We pride ourselves in making sure our customers and pups serviced are satisfied. If you noticed something before you leave, please inform us so we can take care of it for you prior to you leaving. If you notice something once you get home, please give us a call within 48 hours so we can arrange a time for you to bring your pet back and resolve the issue.
